The APTA Geriatrics Journal Club [“JClub”] is a bi-monthly, interactive, online forum for geriatric physical therapists seeking a clinician-friendly venue for learning about and discussing the clinical implications of recent geriatric rehabilitation research.
Prior to the online event, attendees are asked to read a selected article from the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy and an associated case study published in GeriNotes that illustrates how the study findings might be applied in clinical practice.
One of the study authors will present their study, with an emphasis on the clinical motivation for the study and the clinical application/impact of their findings. The clinician case study author will also participate to discuss the clinical application of the study findings as described in the case study.
Attendees will receive an email containing a certificate confirming 1.5 contact hours only. We do not offer CEUS from any specific state. However, can contact your state and submit a request for CEU approval. This is assuming your state awarded CEUs for the small number of contact hour provided by this JClub meeting.
